I'll be needed to order a new tune pretty soon, I think. Im going to installing my Vortech supercharger and although I wont be changing out the injectors or MAF I feel a good base tune will make it run better. I have the stock injectors and MAF and will be using a FMU to handle my fuel needs. As far as I know the only thing that needs to be changed is the timing, what else would you be changing? If its just the timing will the X-Cal 2 get me far enough to change it myself?

There are quite a few things to change for the vortech, which the X2 won't give you enough adjustment for by itself. You'll need a custom tune, then some hands on tuning with a wideband.

Ok, I'll just place an order then for the new tunes. Luckly I already have a widband.

OK Im getting ready to make my order, but I want to make sure you get the required info. Im installing my Vortech making 8psi and I'll be needed two tunes, one for daily driving and one for nitrous use.
The daily driving:
91 octane
8psi of boost
The basic bolt-ons; e-fans, headers, exhaust
I have not changed my gear ratio but have changed my wheel/tire size to 285/50 18
Nitrous tune:
Everything the same as the DD tune but with a 60 shot of nitrous.
I have one stage colder plugs, so I don’t know if that will effect the tune any. I also want to delete the EGR, tune off the rear O2's, and all the rest of the basic tuning you have already done.

Turning that stuff off won't be a problem. I don't do mail order tunes for nitrous on blower cars, since just the blower needs to be dynotuned anyways, and the nitrous too.

So you cant get a tune for nitrous use on the blower, but you can get me a base tune for the blower only. Correct?

Correct and in this case its only a temp tune the truck needs to be dyno tuned.
