I readed that you can use the Xcal as a two step rev limiter by setting the nuetral RPM limiter at the RPM you want to lauch at. Will this work on a 5 speed car? How does the computer know you are in nuetral? Does the rev limiter work by limiting fuel to the engine? Thanks for the info.

All EEC-V (94/96-04) rev limiters are fuel cut based. This is not a problem though. The two step only works on 99-04s. The two step works when the car is not moving (zero vehicle speed).

The two step would be adjusted by changing the neutral rev limit with the X2, if you had a 99-04 car.
