more Xcal two step questions

Thanks for the info from my other post. So is there any way of making the computer think my 98 has an auto trans so I can add a button to tell the computer that the trans is in nuetral and then release it to make the computer think I shifted into gear? If this wont work do you know of any way I can add a two step to my car? I know I can do it with a MSD dis-4 but that will cost me over $800.00 including coil packs and adapters. Thanks for your help.

I don't think there is a way to do it with the stock computer on a 98.
