Hi Justin I am looking at purchasing this motor to put in my 98 mustang:
sc block
sc crank
.030 over
ross flat top pistons forged
10.2:1 compratio
95 sc rods polished shot peened arp wave lock studs
head studs
rpm-mustangs.com heads fully ported valves unschrouded
rpm-mustangs.com cam (216/225)
double valve springs
crane hardend pushrods
fully balanced
01+ dampner (youll need a crank pulley)
4.2 fly wheel
I am thinking about 24lbs injector. Do I need to do anything to the mass air sensor? Also is there a difference between the 4.2 flywheel and the stock 3.8? Thanks for your help.

Stock MAF should be fine for a 3.8L. The 4.2L flywheel is zero balance, the 01+ 3.8 flywheel is too, you'll need a zero balance flywheel to match the zero balance crank, a long with a zero balance dampner.

Thanks Justin for answering me but you lost me. So which combination of flywheel and dampener should I use on this engine?
