I got a few questions. vehicle: 98 cobra. as of right now, i only have one key for the car, and apparently, that key got cleared on accident. So now the factory alarms goes off everytime i try to start the car. What are my options? ive read alot on other forums and haven't come up with anything. I figured you guys here must deal with this all the time. any help would be appreciated. Idealy id like to just get rid of the pats stuff all togeather if thats an option. thanks - John

Hi, I can custom program an SCT X-cal2 with it turned off. The theft light will still blink though.

look at these sites when ya get a chance .. your ECM CAN be RESET and able to except 3 keys once it's installed and powered back up ..
I was gonna have my PATS removed when Justin sent me my tunes, but I wanted to sense of (whether false or not) security that someone couldn't just jump in and hot wire the car and drive off. Previous owner also installed an aftermarket alarm (only found out by rebuilding my MACH 460 wiring and saw the module under the dash.)
These do say Toyota, but Cobra has the same (at least on 99+ .. not sure if pre-99 are the same .. I'll do some research for ya)

Have you tried the Brake Pedal Reprogram yet?

If you have the Owner's Manual, it may have the reprogram sequence as well.
It'll have something like OFF-START-OFF in the ignition with the key to reprogram it.

I can't access the following links from work (military puters) so I'll have to check and edit this post when I get home -- Use Click Beware until I varify them :)
