Matt's 03 cobra has a steigmeyer stage 3 ported blower, 2.93 upper, 6lb lower (tons of boost), LTs, offroad H, 60lb injectors, BAP, BA2400 MAF, and 4.10 gears. The car previously had a pretty bad hesistation issue, I was able to fix a lot of that but he will ultimately need to pull the PPRV valve to make all of it go away.

Justin,

Thanks for posting this...the car has the Stage IV port.
I'm gonna pull the PPRV soon and let you know how the car is then.
I'm still getting the ocassional rise and fall of pressue we talked about even though you tuned off the deceleration pressure thing...but man this tune is F-ing KILLER!!!! I couldnt be happier!

Thanks Again..
VMP ROCKS!!!!!!!!!

Matt

I was going through some stuff and came across some additional data I had gathered during the tuning session.

The car has 4.10 gears, so it revs very quickly. This is where it becomes advantageous to have a loaded dyno.

At the bottom of the graph is time. Run 5 is with 25% load, run 6 is with 10% load. Even with 10% load the car still had a 6 second dyno pulley, with no load the pull would have been over in 5 seconds. Loading the car up and slowing down the pull allows the tuner to gather much more data and simulate real world conditions better. On 400rwhp cars with stock gears this is not really an issue, but when you start talking about 500+ rwhp and 4.10s an inertia only dyno will get spun up very quickly.

thanks Justin!

I really miss the car..but will have another on in a year or so.

How is your wife doing? seeing that our wifes are both due around the same time, we may run into each other at the hospital! LOL
