I have an '07 Pony Package with 4.0 and manual 5-speed. Interested in a muffler and possibly a CAI and tune. A few questions.
Will the muffler alone help with gas mileage ?
Will the tune and CAI also help with gas mileage ?
I live at approximately 5200 feet, Denver area. Does the tune work well at the higher altitude ?
I would like to have the traction control turned off, is this possible ?
The car seems to be sensitive off idle when letting the clutch out, much more than my '99 Ranger was. It sometimes stalls, and I dont like to slip the clutch to keep it from stalling. Will the tune or muffler help with this ???
Thanks

Hi, the mods will help MPG. Elevation is not a problem. I can give you a little more power off idle, if you feel that will help keep the car from stalling.

Thanks Justin,
A few more questions. Is there a difference between the GT Takeoff mufflers from an automatic versus a manual transmission ? I dont really care so much about a difference in sound, but I am wondering if there is more restriction in the automatic muffler. I have been reading on some of the mustang forums that there is a difference and the automatic muffler is not as loud as the manual.
Is the takeoff you sell from an automatic or a manual ?
Also, do you have the driver side takeoff available as well in case I decide to do duals.
Also, will the JBA shorty headers help in performance ? I am not planning on going beyond exhaust, intake, tune and possibly a 3.73 LSD.
Thanks

Hey, there seems to be no difference in performance between the two. We put the auto muffler on my brothers V6 and he picked up nearly 11-12rwhp. The heades aren't worth anything. The gears and t-lok should help, you can use the x-cal2 to adjust for them when you get them.
I have whole sets right now, so if you order the whole $599 package in the next week I'll give you both mufflers at no extra charge.

What else do you need if you get both GT mufflers with a stock setup to have duals?
I plan on buying the v6 power package as well.

I bought the over the axle tube and one muffler bracket from ford, then got a stock GT h pipe, cut it up, and welded it back onto the stock V6 Y pipe.
