Hello, im new to these forums...
i was referred to Justin at VMP by many people on mustangboards.com
Anyway iminstalling a kb supercharger on my 94 cobra mustang, and of course, i need to get it tuned...Just curious if you could give me an appx. price on the dyno time and tune (i noticed in a prev. thread that you only tune 5.0's with the dyno) Now after that, imnot quite sure if the handheld SCT tuners are compatible with the 94-95 models. Does this mean i would just buy the eliminator chip? Im kind of lost in the tuning aspect, anything would help, thanks!

Hi, for the 94-95 5.0s we have to use a chip. Only the 94-95 3.8s can be flashed since they went obd2 early. The cost for a chip and dynotune would be $600 for your car. I believe KB supplies a fuel pump and larger injectors, which maf do they have you use? I would recomend the 90mm L maf.

no, the fuel supplies weren't included actually, but im using 42# inj. a 255lph in tank, and yes, a 90mm lmaf...and with the lmaf, i belive i need to splice it in, or get an adapter for it to fit my car, and they're already calibrated for 42's correct?? thx for the help

That sounds good, you'll need to solder on a connector or buy an adapter harness. Actually, if you have the round harness at the body you can just get a maf/iat harness from a 96-00 car. You need to relocate your IAT sensor so it is after the blower, you can use the lightning iat sensor since it is threaded for 3/8" npt.
Injector calibration still needs to be done in the tune.
