Nick originally brought the truck to me in December for a dynotune, back then he had a 4lb lower, exhaust, and KN intake. The truck made 399/492. He recently brought the truck back to have it checked out with a 6lb lower and gutted cats. After a few runs it made 401RWHP/522RWTQ. You can see boost is up a little bit in the mid range but peak boost is about the same. I've tuned a lot of trucks with 4lb and 6lb lowers, and I can't say I believe there is a big difference. The extra heat generated could outway the marginal power increases.
