Bill is my original and first GT500 customer. He first brought his car to me back in September of 2006 on the recomendation of a mutual friend. I've had his car on my dyno several times to test different combinations.
On a cold December morning back in 2006 we tested the new (at the time) JLT intake on his car.
With just a VMP tune the car put down 497RWHP.
With the addition of the JLT intake the car made 511RWHP, a gain of 14RWHP. 14-16RWHP gain seems to be about average for an intake on these cars, most of the power and boost is gained above 4500RPM.
We removed the JLT intake and sent Bill on his way with the stock intake and VMP Tune.
