I tuned this truck a while back but never posted the results on here. The sport trac basically has a mustang engine, but there is a 6spd auto trans behind it, single bore TB, and the intake runners are longer for more TQ. From the factory its rated at 292HP vs the Mustang's 300HP.
Like most trucks, it has a very conservative tune. On 93 I was able to make some very impressive power gains, all with the stock intake and stock exhaust. We saw nearly 20RWHP and over 30RWTQ, the mid-range gains are especially impressive.
Due to the special traction control/rollover prevention system that ford is putting in these trucks, they can't be dynoed unless you get into the computer and turn off the TCS, the button on the dash does not actually work.
Tim is bringing the truck back to me with a whipple supercharger.
