This is from my Houston, TX dyno-day a month ago.
Michael's GT500 has the FRPP 2.3L TVS blower, FRPP Intake, VMP 2.65" upper pulley and idler, FRPP shory headers with stock cats, and a VMP Dynotune.
The headers don't help much with the restrictive stock cats still on there. Above 550rwhp the cats really start to become a restriction, and by 700rwhp you can gain 20-30rwhp from removing them.
His car did not show a really high number on the dyno because the 3.73 gears bring the power down a few percent, but it still did very well given the conditions. A throttle body would also add 15-20rwhp on this car. Some of the other TVS numbers out there on the internet are from perfect air condition days where its very cold and/or barometric pressure is very high, and not the best example of real world results.
In Texas the gasoline actually has about 10% ethanol, versus some areas like Florida where they claim its up to 10% but they are not actually mixing in that much ethanol yet.
