Default How Far

Time to start on car.I own a 2007 GT500 convertible,Car is lowered,Lower control arms changed. Also have had the TSB on clutch done, very much better. The only issue i am concerned with is how far can i go in in the power band before i get into twisted fender issues.Super snake package would only go 625 HP.Lot of money for a little more.So i am going to do it myself but want to stay on safe side.If anyone else has done a convertible i would be very interested to know what you did. Thanks

We have not seen any issues with verts and there are a bunch running around with 700+rwhp. It may be a long term problem on a car that is raced on slicks with no roll cage to stiffen it, but i htink a street car will have a hard time generating enough traction to twist it, or it would take a really long time.

Justin,
Another Shelby owner i met talks highly of you.He is from Canton,Ohio his name is Mike Kurtz. He is real happy with what you did for him. What kind of package deal would i need to get to around 675 HP.Ther is no dyno close buy that i know of so i would depend on you for a tune to go with it.Thanks

I would do this intake/tune/pulley package:
http://www.vmptuning.com/store/index...312&parent=105

Then add the 10% lower:
http://www.vmptuning.com/store/index...259&parent=104

that will get you into the 550-580rwhp range on stock exhaust.
