I did this years ago but never posted it on this section of the site.
When Rebecca's 2006 4.0L V6 Mustang manual was new we tried some basic bolt ons to see what the results would be. The VMP Custom Tune resulted in 8-10rwhp, a CAI about 6-8RWHP, and a GT muffler about 8-11RWHP. Combined the gains were 24RWHP/26RWTQ, not bad for a six banger, and enough to put you in the mid 14s in the 1/4 mile. My tune makes the throttle much more responsive, and the speed limiter is removed. This car later got a Vortech and made 395RWHP on 15psi. We converted from a single GT muffler, to dual exhaust, and did not see any power gain even with the blower. ![]()
