Description

Connector for 96+ IAT / ACT sensors. Includes 12" of wire. Can be used with threaded style sensor from Lightning/Cobra or push-in style sensors found on 96-00.

To avoid potential problems this harness should be soldered. When hooking this harness up polarity does not matter.

On forced induction vehicles the air temp sensor must be mounted after the compressor or intercooler, so the computer can read the temp of the actual air going into the engine. This is very important for a safe tune.

Starting in 01/02 most Ford vehicles went to an air temp sensor that was built into the MAF sensor, if your MAF is mounted in suck-through before the blower you must relocate the IAT.

On 01-04 the gray wires pin 1 and pin 6 are for the IAT sensor, cut them and solder in the IAT sensor harness.

On 05+ the gray wires pin 1 and pin 2 are for the IAT sensor, cut them and solder in the IAT sensor harness.
